Mr Leigh Minehan

Leigh Minehan is a partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has been with the firm for over 39 years and has been a partner for 27 years.

Leigh is currently the Global Leader – Network Transformation; leading a major change management program aimed at achieving greater alignment of PwC firms and to enhance their global clients’ service experience.

Prior to this, Leigh was a member of the Australian Firm’s Management Executive and Firmwide Leadership Team and held the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer for PwC in Australia.

Leigh has had a wide range of professional experience largely in Audit and in the Business Advisory area. His major clients over the years have included:

  • Medical Benefits Fund of Australia
  • QBE Insurance Group
  • Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Group (now part of Suncorp)
  • Rheem Australia Limited (when a public company)
  • AGC Insurances

Outside of work Leigh is a keen yachtsman, having competed in nine Sydney-Hobart Yacht Races (winning twice) and represented Australia on a number of occasions. He was previously involved in yachting administration as a director of Yachting Australia (peak body for the sport) and Commodore of The Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (responsible for the Sydney – Hobart Yacht Race).

Leigh is also a former President of a leukaemia and cancer research foundation, Cure Cancer Australia.

In 2000 he was appointed to the Board of Queenwood School for Girls and in 2007 appointed Chairman.

Leigh is married to Jo and has two children, Phoebe and Sam.
